Role Description The Intern – EHS & Sustainability role is a full-time on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The intern will assist in monitoring and documenting Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) practices, including inspection, data collection, and compliance tracking. Daily tasks include supporting health and safety initiatives, participating in environmental awareness activities, and helping to assess occupational health conditions in project sites or client facilities. The role also involves preparing reports, presentations, and training materials related to EHS and sustainability, as well as collaborating with team members to implement improvement actions. The intern will gain hands-on experience in applying EHS and sustainability principles to real-world projects and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
• Candidates should possess knowledge or interest in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Occupational Health.
• Candidates should possess strong Environmental Awareness and an understanding of sustainability concepts.
• Candidates should possess the ability to support Training activities, including preparing materials and assisting in sessions.
• Candidates should possess good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Familiarity with basic EHS regulations, green building standards, or environmental management systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) and the ability to learn new tools quickly is preferred.
