Position: IT Procurement Specialist (Contract)

contract 3-4months

Fully based in Kapar , Selangor (Factory based)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for IT products and services, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, purchase order management, and contract support.
• Act as a subject matter expert for IT procurement categories such as:
• Hardware (laptops, servers, networking equipment, peripherals)
• Software licensing (Microsoft, Oracle, SaaS solutions, etc.)
• Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• IT managed services and professional services
• Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost optimization, quality, and timely delivery.
• Conduct market research and identify suitable IT vendors and solutions.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP documents, evaluate vendor proposals, and support vendor selection processes.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, service agreements, and contract conditions with suppliers.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into procurement specifications.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, governance, and approval processes.

Requirements

• :Minimum 5 years of experience in IT procurement, IT sourcing, or technology vendor management
• .Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and vendor landscape
• .Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and commercial negotiations
• .Good understanding of software licensing, cloud services, and IT contracts
• .Strong stakeholder management skills with IT and business teams
• .Ability to work independently and deliver results within a short contract period
