Job Summary

Support the planning and execution of SICCI events and activities by coordinating vendors, managing communications, preparing materials, and assisting with sponsorships to ensure successful event delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, speakers, sponsors, and participants to ensure seamless event execution
  • Prepare event proposals, presentations, reports, budgets, and post-event evaluations to support event planning and review
  • Manage event registration, attendee tracking, and on-site operations to facilitate smooth event flow
  • Develop and distribute event marketing materials, invitations, promotional content, and social media communications to drive attendance
  • Liaise with members, partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to address event-related inquiries and maintain relationships
  • Maintain accurate event databases, records, and documentation for organizational reference
  • Support sponsorship and partnership initiatives to enhance event resources and engagement
  • Assist in coordinating departmental activities to contribute to overall team effectiveness
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and proactively under tight timelines
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends during events to support operational needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to efficiently prepare documents and presentation
  • Proficiency in AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini) is an added advantage
  • Pleasant, positive, polite, and cheerful personality to foster a welcoming event environment
