ABOUT THE JOB

The role is responsible for leading technical presales and engineering advisory engagements across Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and crypto-agility, OT/ICS and cyber-physical security, AI cybersecurity, AI-driven SOC engineering and security architecture.

The role owns engagements from opportunity discovery, technical scoping and solution design through proposal development, engineering delivery, integration support and operational handover. The position contributes to the growth, engineering quality and commercialization of TM One's Cybersecurity Engineering portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Presales & Solution Engineering

• Act as the lead technical SME for Cybersecurity Engineering presales opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery and scoping workshops to understand customer objectives, critical assets and risk.
• Recommend suitable engineering approaches across PQC, OT/ICS, AI security and AI-driven SOC.
• Develop solution architectures, proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), bills of material and effort estimates.
• Support RFP/RFQ/tender responses, technical clarifications and proof-of-value demonstrations.
• Present engineering solutions and technology roadmaps to customer technical and management stakeholders.
• Identify follow-on opportunities across Advisory, SOCaaS, cloud and managed security portfolios.

Engineering & Technical Delivery

• Support cryptographic discovery, crypto-agility design and PQC migration pilots.
• Support OT/ICS architecture review, zoning/segmentation design and secure remote access engineering.
• Contribute to AI system threat modelling, secure AI architecture and adversarial testing.
• Support AI-driven SOC design, telemetry engineering, SIEM/SOAR/XDR integration and detection-as-code.
• Develop reference architectures, integration patterns and proof-of-concept/proof-of-value solutions.
• Oversee testing, integration support, documentation and transition to operations.

Engagement Governance & Quality Assurance

• Serve as technical lead for assigned engineering engagements.
• Ensure architecture designs and solutions meet security, performance and compliance requirements.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, scope changes and customer expectations.
• Review technical deliverables, designs and reports before customer submission.
• Coordinate with GRC, Offensive and Defensive Security teams to ensure consistent governance and outcomes.

Practice Development & Innovation

• Evaluate new technologies, vendors and tools against defined security, interoperability and commercial criteria.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, playbooks, automation and estimation models.
• Support controlled testing laboratories and secure integration environments.
• Contribute to proofs of value, productization and thought-leadership initiatives.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE

Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications or related field. A relevant Master's Degree is an advantage.

WE VALUE

• Minimum 8 years in Cyber Security
• Certification expectation: At least one recognised security architecture or engineering credential is strongly preferred; domain-specific credentials are advantageous.
• Leadership & Architecture: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent security architecture credential.
• OT/ICS: GICSP, GRID, IEC 62443 specialist credential or equivalent demonstrable OT security qualification.
• Cloud & Engineering: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud security/architecture; Kubernetes or DevSecOps credentials.
• AI Security: Recognised AI/ML security or AI engineering training supported by proven delivery experience.
• PQC & Cryptography: Relevant cryptography, PKI, HSM/KMS or vendor-neutral specialist training.
• Delivery: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent programme-delivery credential.
