Job Description

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other STEM fields.
• Proficiency with parametric solid modeling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communications, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Develop CAD drawings based on hand sketches, verbal instruction, and datasheets.
• Visualize 3D according to CAD layout and datasheet.
• Design 3D model for PCB, Metal Housing, Electronics equipment, and machinery.
• 2D DWG for 3rd angle projection.

Responsibilities:

Design and Modeling: Collaborating with engineers and designers to create or modify 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This involves understanding the principles of design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) to optimize objects for 3D printing.

Printer Setup and Operation: Preparing the 3D printer for production, which includes calibrating the machine, loading the printing material, and configuring printing parameters such as layer height and printing speed.

Post-Processing: Removing the printed object from the printer, performing any necessary post-processing steps (such as cleaning, support removal, or surface finishing), and inspecting the object for defects.

Research and Development: Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in 3D printing technology, materials, and methods. This might involve conducting research to explore new applications and possibilities for 3D printing.

Customization and Prototyping: Creating prototypes and customized objects quickly and cost-effectively, allowing for rapid iteration and innovation in product development.
