About the role
Source, evaluate, and purchase MEP materials, equipment, and services for New Build and A&A projects. Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchases. Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Key responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and purchase MEP materials, equipment, and services for New Build and A&A projects
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchases
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery to site
- Monitor material delivery schedules and resolve any supply or delivery issues
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors when required
- Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and company requirements
- Track order status and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Assist in cost control and monitor procurement budgets
- Support inventory planning and material forecasting where required
About you
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the Construction or M&E industry
- Experience handling procurement for MEP projects, New Build, and/or A&A projects
- Familiar with construction materials, M&E products, and supplier management
- Able to source materials, compare quotations, and negotiate effectively with suppliers
- Good knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/procurement systems is an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
