Prerequisites include tertiary education, preferably in shipping-related subject, and previous experience of minimum three (3) years in similar position(s).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Marine Operations Executive Assistant
Reports to: Department Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Monitors the day-to-day aspects of vessels’ operations andarranges for their needs

2. Appoints port agents and arranges funding accordingly.

3. Monitors agent’s performance and port disbursement accounts

4. Monitors vessel’s communications expenses.

5. Arranges Cash to Master remittances.

6. Maintains and updates vessels’ Position List.

7. Monitors vessels’ operational expenses and arranges paymentsunder the approval of the responsible Manager.

8. Maintains filing of vessels certificates and records in linewith Company’s system and monitors their validity

Starting Salary varies according to qualifications/experience and is subject to yearly review
