Job Description
The Corporate Development Manager is responsible for driving the organisation's corporate development strategy through fundraising, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement and community outreach.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the successful candidate will be a proactive, resourceful and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing sustainable fundraising strategies, cultivating partnerships with donors, corporate partners and community stakeholders, leading fundraising campaigns and events, crafting compelling donor and impact stories, and managing strategic projects that enhance the organisation's visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement and advance its long-term sustainability.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Fundraising & Development
- Develop and implement the organisation’s fundraising strategy.
- Identify sustainable funding avenues across corporate, foundations, grants and individual giving.
- Oversee all aspects of donor stewardship, including developing proposals, sponsorship packages, managing the donor reporting schedule, fostering donor engagement, and coordinating donor communications.
- Prepare grant proposals, applications, and reports to secure and retain funding.
- Manage donor and prospect database and serve as the point person for all data management matters.
- Track and analyse fundraising performance.
- Oversee all resources relating to fundraising related statistics and prepare regular reports for senior management and Board.
- Maintain compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, donors, foundations, government agencies and community organisations.
- Build strategic partnerships that supports CEF’s programmes and initiatives.
- Support Board members and Fundraising Committee members in stakeholder cultivation, relationship management and retention.
3. Community Outreach & Project Management
- Plan and implement community engagement initiatives.
- Increase CEF’s visibility through outreach programmes.
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Coordinate timelines, budgets and stakeholder communications.
- Manage external vendors where required.
4. Event and Campaign Management
- Oversee donor engagement at all official CEF events.
- Play lead role in executing plans for events including budgeting, project scheduling, programme development, venue sourcing, preparing admin briefs and ensuring smooth programme execution for internal and external stakeholders.
- As required, work with other administrative teams on cross-functional projects as well as shared duties.
5. Donor Communications Support
- Assist in developing stories and content to engage community, donors, and stakeholders. This includes social media, videos, collateral and website management.
- Design and craft proposals that align with the funding priorities of CEF.
6. Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A good university degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in a second language is an advantage to support outreach and engagement with Singapore's multicultural communities.
- Able to work independently under with tight deadlines.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, development or related roles in the not-for-profit sector would be an added advantage.

Work Schedule
- 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
- Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Occasional weekend work may be required based on operational and event needs.
