Chef – Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and required quality standards.
• Ensure food is properly prepared, cooked, and presented.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
• Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and proper storage.
• Assist with stock control and inform management when supplies need replenishing.
• Manage food portions and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Follow recipes, food safety procedures, and workplace regulations.
• Assist in developing new dishes and improving existing menu items.
