Headquartered in Subang USJ, we are looking for a talented and motivated Project Cost Controller to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering challenging and rewarding projects.
Main responsible for tracking, controlling and managing the Group’s project cost. You will be minimizing project budget’s deviation and ensure that Projects are completed within approved budget.
Job Responsibilities:
Partnering with Project Team
- Lead the project cost budget process and ensure timely delivery.
- Work with Project team to drive cost rationalization and reduction initiatives.
- Assist with project risk reviews and communicating project status, risk, schedule and cost to all stakeholders.
- Participate in project progress, quality, safety and financial audits as required.
- Attend and participate in project and corporate meetings as needed.
Project Procurement Management
- Ensure project procurement is concluded in compliance with project’s level of authority and Group Procurement Policy.
- Assist in material management reconciliation with cost control reports.
Reporting and Compliance
- Compile weekly and monthly project cost performance report and variance analysis for Stakeholders
- Work along with Site Cost Controllers of different locations to ensure project cost are accurately allocated and posted in SAP to facilitate the monitoring and review purpose.
- Assist with the development and review of internal and external reports including: project budgeting, project cash flow forecast and project status reports.
- Assist with compliance of company policies in all project aspects.
- All other duties as assigned.
Contract Administration
- Ensuring Works are carried out and are progressing in accordance with contract terms.
- Oversee contractual agreements and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Ascertaining and recording variations such as Liquidated Damages, Back charges and defects are remedied within the stipulated time frame.
- Monitoring budget adjustments and authorizing payments and invoices as outlined in the contract.
- Collaborating correspondences with the legal department to mitigate risks involved in contracts.
Requirements:
- Preferably Engineering degree. Other tertiary qualification with minimum 2 years Project Cost Control, Contract Management experience or working in EPC industry are encouraged to apply
- Exposure in palm business processes will be added advantage
- Advance in Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Good in English writing and speaking (presentation)
- Meticulous, independent and able to work under pressure
