Finance Analyst

Finance Division – Planning Team | KFC & Pizza Hut Singapore

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Planning Team, supporting both KFC & Pizza Hut Singapore.

This is a hands-on role supporting financial planning and analysis, P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting across both brands.

You will work with financial and operational data to understand business performance, identify key drivers and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse P&L performance across both brands, including sales, cost of sales, gross margin, operating expenses and profitability
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods
• Support budgeting, forecasting and rolling outlook processes
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify key performance drivers, trends, risks and opportunities
• Work with business functions including Marketing, Operations and Real Estate
• Prepare management reports, financial analysis and performance decks
• Work with large and detailed datasets from multiple sources and dashboards
• Maintain accurate financial models, trackers and reports
• Support Finance projects, process improvements and ad-hoc assignments as required

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or Business with a major/specialisation in Accounting or Finance
• Strong foundation in financial accounting
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Management Reporting, Financial Analysis or related finance roles
• Strong full P&L understanding is essential
• Able to understand how accounting and operational activities impact financial results
• Experience or exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis or financial planning
• Advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory, with hands-on experience working with complex analysis and large datasets
• Exposure to SQL and PBCS / Hyperion would be advantageous
• Experience in FMCG, QSR, Retail or multi-site operations would be an advantage

What Will Help You Succeed

You are analytical, numerically strong and highly attentive to detail. You are comfortable working with large datasets and tight timelines, but importantly, you can go beyond analysing numbers to understand what they mean financially and what is driving business performance.

You should also be comfortable communicating with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders and willing to investigate, validate and challenge data when something does not look right.
