Responsibilities

Overview
To assist in managing the overall Human Resources function of the hotel, covering HR operations, employee relations, manpower, recruitment, payroll, training, performance management, staff welfare, and compliance. The role works closely with management and all departments to ensure effective people management and smooth HR operations.

THE JOBSCOPE
  • Assist in managing the overall HR function and daily HR operations of the hotel.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation.
  • Work closely with HODs and management on manpower planning, staffing requirements, and employee matters.
  • Oversee employee attendance, leave, overtime, payroll coordination, and HR administration.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace concerns.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are effectively implemented across the hotel.
  • Support performance management, employee development, training, and career progression initiatives.
  • Coordinate staff welfare, engagement, communication, and employee experience activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports, manpower data, and personnel documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities and ensure vacancies are managed according to operational requirements.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and employment-related matters.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, budgets, manpower forecasts, and other information required by management.
  • Lead and guide the HR team in delivering effective and timely HR services.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end HR operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work closely with employees and management at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
