About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support our Supply Chain & Operations team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to procurement, production scheduling, delivery scheduling, and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced
omnichannel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Data Management
- Maintain and update procurement-related data, including SKU, supplier, pricing, MOQ, lead time, order quantity, and delivery information.
- Ensure purchase order and supplier information is accurately recorded and up to date.
- Assist in maintaining procurement trackers, reports, and dashboards.
- Check and reconcile data between different files or systems to identify discrepancies.
- Support the team in organising and maintaining procurement documentation.
2. Production Order Follow-Up
- Follow up with suppliers on the status of ongoing purchase orders and production schedules.
- Update production progress and expected completion dates in the tracking file.
- Monitor key milestones from order confirmation, production, QC, shipment, and warehouse delivery.
- Highlight delayed or overdue orders to the Procurement PIC.
- Follow up with suppliers for missing information or overdue updates.
3. Order & Delivery Tracking
- Assist in monitoring PO status and expected delivery dates.
- Keep track of changes to production and delivery schedules.
- Support the Procurement team in identifying orders that may have potential delays.
- Assist in consolidating supplier updates and preparing status reports.
4. Administrative & Procurement Support
- Assist the Procurement team with data entry, document filing, and basic reporting.
- Support quotation comparison and supplier information updates when required.
- Assist with other procurement-related tasks and projects assigned by the team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Internship duration of at least 3 months (preferred). Starting in September 2026.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP is an advantage).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
