Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Construction Lead to oversee construction activities across multiple project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution while maintaining schedule, productivity, and performance targets.

The role will act as a key construction interface between the project owner, general contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction execution across multiple project sites, ensuring delivery against project milestones, safety targets, quality standards, and approved specifications.
  • Act as the primary construction focal point between project stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Lead Construction Engineers, subcontractors, site supervisors, and other project personnel to ensure effective resource utilisation and productivity.
  • Monitor construction progress, manpower deployment, equipment utilisation, productivity, and overall site performance.
  • Identify potential delays, construction issues, and resource constraints, implementing appropriate corrective and recovery actions to maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with general contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, environmental requirements, and project-specific procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in construction productivity, quality, safety, and execution performance.
  • Review and monitor project schedules and support short- and long-term construction planning.
  • Prepare regular construction progress reports, forecasts, and management updates.
  • Support project risk identification, mitigation planning, and resolution of construction-related risks.
  • Participate in project and management meetings, providing updates on construction progress, challenges, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Support project commissioning, completion, handover, and close-out activities.
  • Undertake other project-related responsibilities as required by the Project Manager.


Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of construction experience, with at least 1–2 years in a site leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Proven experience managing construction activities across multi-site industrial, infrastructure, utility, data centre, or other complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and contractor management capabilities.
  • Good understanding of construction methodologies, site operations, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and other project reporting/planning tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
