Responsibilities

Role Summary


We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the day-to-day operation,

maintenance and security of our AWS cloud environment across G2G, pipwave and

OffGamers platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior cloud engineers, DevOps engineers

and software developers to maintain cloud infrastructure, implement security best practices,

monitor cloud resources and assist with incident investigation and remediation.

This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of AWS cloud experience who are looking to

build their expertise in cloud infrastructure and security operations.


Responsibilities


AWS Cloud Operations

• Support the deployment, maintenance and monitoring of AWS infrastructure and

services.

• Assist in managing AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53

and VPC.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance and availability using CloudWatch

and related monitoring tools.

• Perform routine system maintenance, patching and configuration updates.

• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and escalate complex problems when

necessary.


Cloud Security Operations

• Assist in implementing AWS security best practices and company security standards.

• Support the management of IAM users, roles and permissions following leastprivilege

principles.

• Monitor security findings from AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub and CloudTrail.

• Assist with maintaining encryption configurations using AWS KMS and Secrets

Manager.

• Participate in routine security reviews and cloud configuration checks.


Infrastructure Automation & DevOps

• Assist in maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform or

CloudFormation.

• Support CI/CD deployment processes and automation initiatives.

• Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through scripting and

automation.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure and operational

procedures.


Incident Support & Compliance

• Participate in troubleshooting production incidents and service disruptions.

• Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

• Support vulnerability remediation activities and security patch management.

• Assist with audit preparation, documentation and compliance-related activities.

• Maintain accurate records of system changes and operational activities.



Requirements


Technical Skills :

• 1–2 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, cloud operations or DevOpsrelated

roles.

• Basic hands-on experience with AWS services such as:

• EC2

• S3

• IAM

• VPC

• CloudWatch

• RDS

• Basic understanding of AWS security concepts including IAM, encryption and

security groups.

• Familiarity with Linux administration and command-line operations.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls and

routing.

• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is

preferred.

• Basic scripting knowledge using Bash, Python or similar scripting languages.


Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent

certification.

• Exposure to security tools such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF or AWS Config is

an advantage.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and container technologies is a plus.
