Full Time Interior Designer Jobs, salary up to MYR 3,800 in NZdesign Kajang - Maukerja

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior design. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max / V-Ray, Enscape, or other relevant design software.
• Strong skills in 2D drawings, 3D visualisation, space planning, mood boards, and design presentations.
• Good understanding of space planning, materials, colour schemes, furniture, and interior design concepts.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and prepare drawings for construction and site purposes.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to develop practical and aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willing to attend site visits, site measurements, and project discussions when required.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating previous interior design work.
• Possession of a valid driving licence and own transport will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements and project briefs.
• Prepare space planning, layouts, 2D drawings, and 3D visualisations.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material selections, and design proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Conduct site visits and site measurements when required.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings, layouts, and design details are accurate and practical for implementation.
• Assist in coordinating design execution with contractors and site teams.
• Monitor the implementation of design concepts to ensure they meet the approved design.
• Ensure assigned projects are completed within the agreed timeline and requirements.

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
