Job Description

Responsibilities

The Site Superintendent (Architectural) is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Manager in coordinating with sub-cons and workers over site architectural and fit-out works, ensuring work done is in accordance with specifications and quality requirements. A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

  • Coordinate and monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with the inspection & test plan for architectural works.
  • Review construction program and method statements related to Architectural Trades.
  • Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
  • Check drawings for discrepancies and raise RFI’s as necessary.
  • Liaise with Archi Coordinators/Consultants on all architectural related issues.

Value Add of Position

  • Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team/department.
  • Ability to make fast decisions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of Building and/or civil engineering experience

  • Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details

  • Completed at least 1 building project
