About the Role
Join our team as an M&E Quantity Surveyor and build your career in construction cost management with a leading global consultancy.
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in M&E or Quantity Surveying who are interested in developing their professional career in cost consultancy. You will work alongside experienced M&E Quantity Surveyors and gain valuable exposure to cost management, tendering, contracts, and project delivery.
This role also provides opportunities to work towards becoming a recognised Accredited Professional Quantity Surveyor (APQS).
Key Responsibilities
- Support M&E cost management and quantity surveying activities across construction projects.
- Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and M&E Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Review and process monthly M&E progress claims and Variation Order (VO) claims.
- Support tender preparation, evaluation, and contract administration.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project cost and contract documentation.
- Work with experienced M&E QS professionals to develop your technical and professional skills.
- Use quantity surveying and cost management software to support project delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in M&E or Quantity Surveying, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is welcome; candidates with knowledge of both M&E disciplines are preferred.
- Experience in cost estimation, quantity take-off, BOQ, tendering, or contract administration.
- Good understanding of M&E construction projects and cost management.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with CostX or other quantity surveying software is an advantage. Training on CostX will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams.
