Role Overview

The Mattress Boutique / AN Digital Lock is looking for a creative, organised and hands-on Creative Content Designer to produce engaging visual content across digital, social-media and print channels.

The successful candidate will handle graphic design, photography, videography, video editing, content scheduling and large-format print preparation. The person will also turn genuine customer installations and reviews into credible testimonial content that strengthens customer confidence in our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design and Brand Content

• Design social-media posts, advertisements, promotional banners, product visuals, brochures, catalogues, posters and showroom materials.
• Maintain visual consistency across the company’s branding and marketing channels.
• Resize and adapt creative materials for different platforms and advertising formats.
• Retouch product and installation photographs using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Create illustrations, icons, layouts and print-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator.
• Support campaign launches, roadshows, showroom promotions and festive marketing activities.

Videography and Video Editing

• Plan, film and edit product demonstrations, installation videos, customer testimonials, promotional videos and short-form social content.
• Create engaging content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Add subtitles, music, motion graphics and branded elements to videos.
• Organise and maintain the company’s photo and video library.
• Attend selected installations, events or showroom activities when original footage is required.

Customer Testimonial Content

• Review installation photos shared through the installers’ WhatsApp group.
• Identify suitable images and match them accurately with the corresponding customer reviews.
• Verify important details such as the customer, product model and installation before publishing.
• Convert customer reviews and installation images into polished testimonial posts.
• Ensure that personal information, addresses, unit numbers and other sensitive details are removed or concealed.
• Coordinate with installers, sales consultants or customer-service staff when information is incomplete.

Content Planning and Scheduling

• Work with the marketing team to maintain a monthly content calendar.
• Prepare, schedule and publish approved content across the company’s social-media channels.
• Ensure that content is delivered according to campaign timelines.
• Keep track of published posts, pending materials and required approvals.
• Repurpose existing materials into different content formats to improve productivity.

Large-Format Printing and Production

• Prepare print-ready artwork for large-format applications such as showroom displays, exhibition panels, backdrops, wall graphics, standees, signages and vehicle graphics.
• Understand bleed, trim lines, safe areas, colour modes, image resolution, scaling and font outlining.
• Perform artwork preflight checks before sending files for production.
• Liaise with printers and vendors regarding materials, dimensions, colour accuracy and production requirements.
• Check colour proofs, print samples and final output quality before installation or deployment.

AI-Assisted Creative Production

• Use AI tools to support image generation, image enhancement, background creation, concept development, copy variation and content ideation.
• Apply appropriate prompts and editing techniques to produce usable marketing assets efficiently.
• Review and refine AI-generated materials to ensure they are accurate, realistic and aligned with the company’s brand.
• Avoid publishing inaccurate product details or misleading AI-generated visuals.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in:Adobe PhotoshopAdobe IllustratorAdobe Lightroom
• Experience in videography and video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve.
• Good understanding of composition, typography, colour, layout and brand consistency.
• Experience preparing artwork for commercial and large-format printing.
• Familiarity with social-media content formats and scheduling tools.
• Able to manage digital assets and accurately match installation images with customer reviews.
• Able to work independently and handle several projects with different deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for product information, customer details and print specifications.
• Willing to communicate with installers, sales staff, customer service and external printing vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, home improvement, interior design, consumer electronics or e-commerce.
• Experience photographing reflective products, glass panels or digital locks.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, YouTube and other content-management platforms.
• Efficient in using generative-AI tools for visual creation and creative production.
• Basic knowledge of copywriting, motion graphics or paid-ad creative formats would be an advantage.
• Possession of a strong portfolio covering digital, video and printed work.
