Full Time Culinary Intern Jobs, Salary up to MYR 600 in ABEDEEN CLUBHOUSE Selangor - Maukerja

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Culinary Intern to join our café team at Abedeen Clubhouse. This internship is a great opportunity to learn the craft of specialty coffee, build customer service skills, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll work alongside experienced baristas and shift leads to learn everything from espresso extraction to latte art, while developing a strong foundation in hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Learn to prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and specialty beverages following recipe and quality standards
• Assist in preparing simple food items such as sandwiches and pastries, following basic food handling and hygiene guidelines
• Greet and assist customers, take orders, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in line with health and safety guidelines
• Assist with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and basic equipment maintenance
• Support opening/closing duties as assigned
• Learn about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items to confidently answer customer questions
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
