Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a Java Microservices Senior Developer to design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and Microservices solutions. The role involves working across the J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot stack with Hibernate/JPA, managing source code and builds using SVN/Git and Ant/Maven/Gradle, and deploying Microservices solutions on cloud infrastructure.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

API & Microservices Development

  • Develop RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
  • Develop and deploy Microservices solutions on cloud infrastructure.
  • Work on J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, and JPA Framework.

Build & Source Control Management

  • Work on source code management systems such as SVN or Git and build tools like Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Maintain and support Maven build scripts, including migration from Curie to GitHub.

Job Specification

Technical Skills

  • Experience using and developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
  • Experience in use of source code management systems like SVN or Git and build tools like Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Hands-on experience with Maven build scripts, including migration from Curie to GitHub.
  • Experience developing and deploying Microservices solutions on cloud infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, and JPA Framework.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Good knowledge of Oracle / Postgres.
  • Good knowledge of Jenkins scripts and CI/CD deployment.
  • Strong familiarity with web servers and load balancing technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.

Experience Required

  • 4 years of hands-on experience developing Java-based RESTful APIs.
  • Proven experience with the Spring/Spring Boot ecosystem and Hibernate/JPA in production environments.
  • Experience deploying Microservices solutions on cloud infrastructure.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: RM4,080.44 - RM9,000.00 per month
