NIOSH Certification Sdn Bhd (NIOSHCert) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Malaysia, specializing in conformity assessment services aligned with national and international standards. NIOSH Certification is an accredited Certification Body by Standards Malaysia. We are looking for self-driven and passionate individuals to join our team.


Role Description


As an Assistant Officer, Technical Training, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of professional technical training program for clients. You will assist in developing training modules, maintaining training documentation, and ensuring all program comply with relevant standards and certification requirements.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized University/ Institute.


Experience 

  • Minimum one (1) year of working experience in training module/content development, technical documentation, training material preparation, learning content development, certification, quality management systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing or reviewing technical training modules and materials for external/client training program will be an added advantage.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong writing, research, content development, and documentation skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for developing professional training materials.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or related certification schemes is an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, reviewing, updating, and maintaining technical training modules for program delivered to external clients.
  • Review existing training modules and recommend improvements based on changes in standards, client needs, trainer feedback, and industry developments.
  • Ensure training modules and materials are consistent, professionally presented, and suitable for the intended target audience.
  • Maintain proper records and version control of training modules, course materials, references, and related documentation.
  • Support the preparation and customization of training materials based on specific client or program requirements.
  • Assist in evaluating training materials and module effectiveness based on participant feedback, trainer input, and program evaluations.
  • Provide support for the delivery and coordination of client training program when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
