Position Title

Manager, Security Coordinator SIN

Reporting To

Security Manager, Quality Assurance

Position Summary

Manage aviation security operations at Singapore Station to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Act as the key security liaison with authorities, airport operators, law enforcement and security providers. Oversee security operations, risk management, incidents, audits, training, access control and continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Security Operations
    • Manage station security operations and ensure compliance with security programmes and regulations.
    • Oversee security controls for passengers, baggage, cargo, mail, aircraft and facilities.
    • Drive continuous improvement of security operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Liaise with APD, NCASA, CAAS, airport operators and relevant authorities.
    • Coordinate audits, inspections, approvals and regulatory matters.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable aviation security requirements.
  • Access Control
    • Monitor access control and security measures in restricted areas.
    • Ensure security screening and controls are properly implemented.
    • Follow up on security breaches and non-compliance.
  • Incident Management
    • Coordinate responses to security incidents, threats and emergencies.
    • Liaise with authorities and emergency agencies when required.
    • Support security investigations and corrective actions.
  • Risk Management
    • Conduct security risk, threat and vulnerability assessments.
    • Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of security controls.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Conduct security audits, inspections and compliance checks.
    • Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
    • Ensure findings are addressed within the required timeline.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Prepare security, incident, compliance and regulatory reports.
    • Ensure timely reporting of significant security incidents.
    • Maintain accurate security records and documentation.
  • Training & Awareness
    • Ensure personnel meet required AVSEC training and competency requirements.
    • Promote security awareness and compliance.
    • Keep updated on regulatory changes and security threats.
  • Security Programme
    • Review and improve security procedures, manuals and contingency plans.
    • Coordinate programme changes with relevant authorities.
    • Ensure station procedures remain compliant with regulations and company standards.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain effective relationships with authorities, airport operators, law enforcement and security providers.
    • Represent the airline at security committees, meetings and forums.
    • Perform other duties assigned by management..
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management or any related field with five (5) years of working experience.
  • Diploma in Security Management or a related field with eight (8) years of working experience
  • Management or a related field with eight (8) years of working experience

Areas of Experience

  • Experience in aviation security operations, regulatory compliance, security quality assurance, security audits, investigations, risk assessment or security programme management is preferred.
  • Experience in dealing with aviation regulatory authorities, airport operators, law enforcement agencies and security service providers will be an added advantage.
