Job Role: Test Analyst

Employer: Infrastructure, construction, utilities, renewable energy, property development, and related business services company.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Type: 12 months contract based (Extendable/Renewable based on performance) – On Site

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications, Agile/Scrum delivery environments, and test automation practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the delivery process.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders within Agile Scrum teams.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through to resolution.
• Contribute to test strategy development and ensure testing activities align with project objectives and timelines.
• Support and enhance test automation initiatives to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze requirements and solution designs to identify test scenarios, risks, and quality concerns.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and QA leadership.
• Adapt testing priorities and activities to meet changing business and project demands.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software testing processes and their role within the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Experience working with multiple software delivery methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Proven ability to create effective test designs and test scenarios using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications and solutions.
• Knowledge of test automation concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience reporting testing progress, risks, and issues to QA Leads, QA Managers, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
