Full Time Site Quantity Surveyor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in Cergas Murni Pahang - Maukerja

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a construction project based in Karak, Pahang. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement processes within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Evaluate tenders and quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Cost and Contract Management:

• Monitor project costs to ensure the budget is maintained.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports.
• Support contract administration, including variations, progress claims, and final accounts.

Site Support:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and effective project execution.
• Conduct site visits to verify work done and progress.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain and update proper documentation and records of all QS activities.
• Prepare project cost reports and assist in forecasting project budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in quantity surveying, preferably in construction projects in Malaysia.
• Proven experience in procurement, cost estimation, and contract management.
• Familiar with local construction laws, building materials, and construction methods.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS-related software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Willing to be based at project site in Karak.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
