Full Time AV Technician Jobs, in Every Room A Home Federal Territory - Maukerja

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and dismantle audio-visual equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets and events.
• Handle projectors, LED screens, microphones, speakers, mixers, lighting and other AV equipment.
• Perform sound checks and equipment testing before events.
• Provide on-site technical support during functions and events.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment, connectivity and basic technical issues promptly.
• Ensure all AV equipment is properly maintained, stored and kept in good working condition.
• Coordinate with Banquet, Engineering, IT, Sales and other departments on event requirements.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory and report any damaged or faulty equipment.
• Ensure cables, equipment and work areas are arranged safely and professionally.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs where applicable.
• Provide professional and responsive technical assistance to guests and internal users.
• Respond promptly and positively to all guest request, even if it does not directly concern the department job.
• Repair and maintain all mechanical equipment and all mechanical fittings.
• Carry out repairs required/ necessary at all required rooms.
• Responsible for replacement of all fuse and bulbs, safe custody of lighting and sound equipment in areas assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned job-related tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer/ Management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an AV Technician, preferably in a hotel, convention centre, event venue or hospitality environment.
• Familiar with sound systems, projectors, microphones, LED displays, lighting and presentation equipment.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, HDMI, network connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently and respond quickly to technical issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays according to operational requirements.
