Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organised IT & Administrative Intern / Junior Assistant to support the team with basic administrative work, data reporting, and day-to-day IT assistance.

This is an entry-level position suitable for students, interns, or fresh graduates who are interested in administration, data analysis, Power BI, and IT support. Guidance and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Data and Reporting Support

• Assist in collecting, organising, and updating data from different departments.

• Help prepare simple reports, charts, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

• Check data for missing, incorrect, or duplicate information.

• Update trackers, spreadsheets, and reporting templates.

• Support the team in identifying basic trends and useful information from data.

• Assist with preparing PowerPoint presentations and management reports.

• Perform simple data cleaning using Excel or Power Query.

Basic IT Support

• Assist employees with simple computer, printer, email, software, and internet-related issues.

• Help set up laptops, desktops, printers, and other office equipment.

• Maintain records of laptops, computers, accessories, and other IT equipment.

• Help monitor the assignment and return of company devices.

• Report more complex IT issues to the supervisor or external IT service provider.

• Assist with basic file organisation, backups, and IT security practices.

Administrative Support

• Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and record keeping.

• Assist in preparing workstations and equipment for new employees.

• Perform other administrative and operational tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently completed a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates and candidates without prior working experience are welcome to apply.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or a strong interest in learning it.

• Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and data.

• Basic understanding of computers, printers, software, and office IT equipment.

• Willingness to learn and receive guidance.

• Good organisational and time-management skills.

• Careful, responsible, and attentive to detail.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently on simple tasks and collaborate with the team.

Preferred Skills

The following skills are helpful but not compulsory:

• Experience creating simple Power BI dashboards.

• Knowledge of Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts, or Power Query.

• Basic knowledge of computer troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365,Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive.

• Basic understanding of SQL, databases, or business systems.

• Previous internship, school project, or assignment involving data analysis.
