Job Summary

Drive business growth by generating leads, managing client relationships, and supporting sales pursuits within the commercial construction sector at TRIDENT FITOUT.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities to expand the client base and market presence
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Analyze market trends and develop strategic plans to capture growth opportunities
• Support preconstruction activities by preparing proposals and coordinating with project teams
• Manage sales pursuits from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to align business development efforts with project delivery
• Oversee account management to retain clients and maximize revenue streams
• Achieve revenue and growth targets through proactive business development and client engagement

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the construction field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to support business development tasks
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track and manage sales activities
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to influence and secure business opportunities
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business
