The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, preparing competitive proposals, and expanding the company's commercial and industrial cleaning service portfolio. The role focuses on increasing revenue, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new commercial, industrial, office, retail, warehouse, healthcare, educational, and government cleaning contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and service presentations.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, proposals, and service agreements.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service scope with clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
• Attend networking events, exhibitions, and business meetings to generate new leads.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and prepare regular sales performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant Singapore regulations.
• Support contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling of cleaning-related services.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the cleaning, facilities management, or related service industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of commercial cleaning services and contract management.
• Ability to prepare quotations, tenders, and business proposals.
• Self-motivated with strong customer relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Preferred Skills

• Tender management experience.
• Excellent networking and client acquisition abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore's commercial cleaning industry and procurement processes.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
