Job Summary

As a Finance Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial operations are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions, payroll, invoicing, accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, and administrative finance duties to support the company's overall business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, debit notes and official receipts accurately and promptly.
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims and payments in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure all accounting entries are updated in a timely manner.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue customer payments.
• Process monthly payroll, CPF contributions, IRAS submissions and other statutory obligations accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and government authorities when required.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and company financial policies.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial planning.
• Support process improvements and recommend ways to enhance finance efficiency and internal controls.
• Provide administrative and finance support to management and other departments when required.
• Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Required Competencies and Certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Familiar with accounting software MYOB or equivalent ERP/accounting systems.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and Singapore accounting practices.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, CPF contributions and IRAS statutory requirements.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Good written and spoken English with effective communication skills.

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience (training will be provided for suitable candidates with relevant qualifications).
• Experience handling full sets of accounts will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with GST reporting and Singapore financial regulations is preferred.
• Experience working in an SME environment is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to continuously learn.
