Responsibilities
Job Description The HIS Implementation Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Manager to ensure the successful execution of hospital information system projects. This position involves coordinating project activities, mobilizing business and clinical analysts, monitoring progress, and resolving issues to achieve project goals. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will serve as a bridge between clinical teams, business analysts, and technical stakeholders to deliver seamless system implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing project activities in alignment with established plans and timelines.
2. Monitor project deliverables to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
3. Identify, assess, and proactively resolve project risks and issues.
4. Provide regular project status updates to the Project Manager.
5. Ensure adherence to project standards, methodologies, and compliance requirements.
6. Oversee the installation, configuration, and optimization of system components to ensure readiness for use.
7. Conduct thorough system validation to confirm proper functionality, performance, and reliability.
8. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for Business and Clinical Analysts to build capability and ensure effective system utilization.
9. Lead and guide Business and Clinical Analysts in executing:
1. Business process engineering (BPR) and realignment (BPA).
2. Requirement gathering and analysis.
3. System walkthroughs and demonstrations.
4. Master data collection and validation.
5. Preparation of user manuals and training materials.
6. Facilitation of Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
7. Completion of project documentation (e.g., BRD, UAT scripts).
8. Dissemination of healthcare domain expertise across the project team.
10. Manage user expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
2. 5–10 years of professional experience in healthcare settings preferred.
3. Strong understanding of clinical workflows in hospitals, clinics, telemedicine, laboratories, or pharmacy environments.
4. Hands-on experience with HIS, PMS, LIS, or other healthcare information systems.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent communication skills with proven stakeholder management experience.
7. Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
1. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
2. Experience using project collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
3. Basic knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
4. Understanding of healthcare coding standards (ICD-10/11, ICD-9-CM, CPT, SNOMED-CT, ATC/MDC) is an added advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
