Job Description

We are a logistics company seeking an experienced and responsible Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance and performance of our commercial vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily deployment and utilisation of company vehicles.

  • Plan drivers’ schedules, delivery routes and vehicle assignments.

  • Monitor vehicle movements, fuel consumption, mileage and operating costs.

  • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced and inspected.

  • Coordinate vehicle repairs, servicing, inspections and breakdown assistance.

  • Ensure compliance with LTA, traffic, workplace safety and other regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor drivers’ performance, attendance and driving behaviour.

  • Investigate vehicle accidents, damage, traffic offences and customer complaints.

  • Maintain proper records of vehicle insurance, road tax, inspections, servicing and repairs.

  • Liaise with workshops, insurance companies, suppliers and relevant authorities.

  • Implement measures to improve fleet efficiency, safety and cost control.

  • Prepare regular fleet performance and maintenance reports for management.

  • Perform other operational duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, Automotive Engineering or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in fleet, transport or logistics operations.

  • Good knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.

  • Familiar with Singapore road traffic and transport regulations.

  • Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to manage drivers and coordinate multiple vehicle schedules.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management or GPS tracking systems.

  • Possession of a valid Singapore driving licence is preferred.

  • Able to respond to urgent vehicle breakdowns or operational matters when required.
