Role Description The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Klang. The individual in this role will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and promote the company’s logistics and liquid transportation services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing proposals and quotations, managing the sales pipeline, and following up on leads to achieve sales targets. The role also involves collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality, addressing client inquiries, and supporting contract negotiations. The Business Development Executive will be expected to represent the company professionally at meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
• Candidates should possess skills in customer satisfaction and customer support to ensure client needs are understood and addressed effectively.
• Candidates should possess customer service and customer service management skills to oversee and improve the overall client experience.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in logistics, shipping, or related industries.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with confident presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations); familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
• Minimum of a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
