Full Time Fitter Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,000 in Vibro Biomass Energy Sabah - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical fitting, installation, maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
• Carry out dismantling, assembly, alignment and adjustment of mechanical components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as pumps, conveyors, boilers, turbines and other rotating machinery.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and identify mechanical faults.
• Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments safely and correctly.
• Assist with welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication works where required.
• Carry out equipment alignment, bearing replacement, coupling installation and other mechanical maintenance activities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Follow maintenance schedules, work instructions and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the work area is safe and clean.
• Record maintenance activities, defects and spare parts used.
• Perform other mechanical maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / SKM / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a fitter or mechanical technician, preferably in a power plant, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Experience with pumps, conveyors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes and rotating equipment is an advantage.
• Able to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts and during plant shutdown/maintenance periods when required.
• Good safety awareness and physically fit for industrial work.

Salary: RM1,700 – RM2,000 basic, depending on experience and skills.
