This is a fixed-term contract employment for 6 months. If the contract is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, there have high chances to be converted as permanent employees.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driving license appropriate for the company vehicle.
- Previous experience as a company, warehouse, logistics, or delivery driver is preferred.
- Familiar with local roads and delivery routes.
- Able to handle physical work, including loading and unloading materials.
- Good driving record with a strong focus on safety.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.
- Able to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
- Willing to work overtime or outside normal working hours when required.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of raw materials, finished products, documents, equipment, and company personnel between the company premises, suppliers, customers, warehouses, and other designated locations. Ensure all transportation activities comply with company safety procedures and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly for daily warehouse and logistics activities.
- Transport materials, components, finished products, tools, equipment, and other goods as assigned.
- Perform collection and delivery of materials from suppliers, customers, subcontractors, and other company locations.
- Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, handled, and delivered without damage.
- Assist warehouse personnel with loading and unloading activities when required.
- Verify delivery orders, delivery notes, purchase orders, and other relevant documents before collection or delivery.
- Obtain acknowledgement/signature on delivery documents and submit completed documents to the Warehouse/Logistics team.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, coolant, fuel, and other safety-related items.
- Maintain company vehicles in clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, defects, maintenance requirements, or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, tolls, parking, and delivery activities.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules, routes, traffic regulations, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to minimize breakage, contamination, scratches, or other product damage.
- Support warehouse operations and other logistics activities during periods of low delivery requirements.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
