Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Prepare and manage accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates for construction projects at tender and post-contract stages
Monitor and control project costs, expenditure and budget variances, providing regular financial reports to project management and clients
Conduct valuations of work completed and prepare interim and final accounts for clients
Negotiate and manage variations, claims and contractual disputes with contractors, suppliers and clients in a professional manner
Perform quantity take-offs and material calculations to support project planning and procurement activities
For Senior positions: mentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors and provide guidance on complex projects and commercial matters
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of professional quantity surveying experience in the construction industry for QS roles; 8+ years for SQS positions
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including standard forms such as FIDIC, Singapore Standard Conditions and other common contract types
