Software Developer (Full Stack) – Java & Angular
Location: Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2.5–4 Years
Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000 per month, depending on experience and technical proficiency
About the Role
We are looking for a Software / Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular with 3–4 years of hands-on software development
experience to join our engineering team in Malaysia.
The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend development, building scalable enterprise
applications using Java, Spring Boot and Angular. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers,
business analysts and architects to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build responsive, reusable and maintainable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs and third-party services.
Design and implement business logic following established architecture and coding standards.
Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes and implement appropriate fixes.
Write unit tests and participate in integration and functional testing.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Architects and other development teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.
Support application deployment and production issue resolution when required.
Required Skills & Experience
Backend: 3–4 years of professional software development experience; strong hands-on Java; Spring
Framework / Spring Boot; OOP; RESTful APIs; exception handling, logging and application security; relational
databases; strong SQL fundamentals.
Frontend: Strong hands-on Angular; TypeScript; HTML5 and CSS3; consuming REST APIs; component-based
UI development; Angular forms, routing, services and state management.
Development Practices: Git / Git-based source control; software development lifecycle; Agile / Scrum; unit
testing and automated testing practices; requirements analysis; debugging and problem-solving.
Good to Have
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Azure or AWS.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Previous experience working on enterprise, banking, financial services or other regulated applications.
Knowledge of application performance optimisation and security best practices.

Education
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related
discipline is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000 per month.
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, technical skills, interview
performance and overall suitability for the role.
Additional benefits will be provided in accordance with company policy and Malaysian employment
requirements.
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
