JOB SUMMARY

The Internal Audit Executive is responsible for assisting in the execution of internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and operational processes across the Group.

The position will provide exposure to various business operations including FFB collection centres, palm oil mills, logistics and workshops.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in carrying out internal audit assignments based on the approved annual audit plan.
• Conduct operational, compliance and process audits across various business units.
• Assist in identifying control weaknesses, operational risks and potential areas for improvement.
• Prepare audit working papers and assist in drafting audit reports.
• Support discussions with auditees on audit findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Perform follow-up reviews to ensure agreed actions are implemented effectively.
• Assist in fraud detection reviews, surprise audits and special assignments when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Travel to operational sites when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of working experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting or operations.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in internal audit are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to travel to operational sites including FFB ramps, palm oil mills, workshops and logistics locations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in plantation, manufacturing, logistics or workshop environment is an advantage.
• Exposure to operational audit or internal control review.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of risk management and internal control concepts.
• Professional certification such as CIA, ACCA or CPA, or currently pursuing, is an added advantage.
