Job Summary

The Junior Building Technician assists in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the hotel's building facilities and equipment. The role supports the Engineering/Maintenance team in ensuring the hotel remains safe, functional, and comfortable for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment.
• Perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, and painting works under supervision.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Replace light bulbs, repair door locks, faucets, switches, and other minor fixtures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and tools.
• Assist senior technicians with major repair and installation works.
• Record completed maintenance tasks and report unresolved issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and hotel policies.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
