Job Description
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, parts, and services, liaising with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery, and issuing purchase orders and processing billing.
- Drive and support the ERP project, ensuring production, inventory, and procurement workflows are accurately captured and maintained in them system.
- Maintain inventory by ensuring parts in use are always in stock, conducting regular stock counts, picking and issuing parts to requestors, and keeping inventory locations accurate and organised.
- Plan and manage production schedules to meet timelines, output targets, and KPIs.
- Manage, supervise, and develop the production team, and lead production meetings.
- Screen, interview, and support the hiring of production staff.
- Liaise with engineers and Mechanical Engineering (ME) on new builds, repairs, and assembly, coordinating technical requirements and timelines for smooth production flow.
