Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is vital in maintaining financial discipline, preparing reports, handling transactional processes, and assisting in audits and compliance. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Transactions & Reporting

• Handle daily accounting entries including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal postings.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and schedules.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and generation of financial statements.
• Support the preparation of management and financial reports (e.g., profit and loss statements, balance sheets).

Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial processes and transactions.

Cash & Payment Management

• Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting.
• Manage petty cash claims, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments.
• Liaise with banks regarding payments, fund transfers, and transaction queries.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment on business activities.
• Provide timely responses to internal and external financial queries.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Around 4 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
3. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.
4. Familiarity with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
6. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
