Project Planner / Scheduler
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Establish project baseline programmes and monitor actual progress against planned activities.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and commissioning teams to obtain accurate progress updates.
- Track project milestones, critical activities, key deliverables and overall programme performance.
- Identify potential delays, critical path impacts and schedule risks, and provide recommendations for recovery.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules and schedule updates.
- Conduct progress measurement and analyse planned vs. actual performance.
- Prepare S-Curves, manpower histograms, progress charts and other planning reports.
- Develop short-term and medium-term look-ahead programmes for site execution.
- Monitor procurement, material delivery and engineering activities to identify potential impacts on the construction programme.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are aligned with the master programme.
- Support the Project Manager and Project Controls team in programme management and recovery planning.
- Assist in preparation of EOT, delay analysis, extension of time and programme impact assessments where required.
- Maintain proper planning records, schedule revisions and supporting documentation.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide clear updates on project schedule performance.
- Ensure planning activities are aligned with project requirements, contractual obligations and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Project Planner / Planning Engineer, preferably within MEP, construction, data centre or industrial projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is required.
- Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and project controls.
- Experience in developing and managing baseline programmes and critical path schedules.
- Knowledge of MEP construction activities and sequencing is highly advantageous.
- Experience with EPC, Design & Build or construction projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with EOT, delay analysis and recovery programmes will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Willing to be based at Elmina, Selangor.
Working Hour
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm
Saturday 8.00am to 12noon (Alternate)

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
