Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Video Editor role based in Cyberjaya. The Junior Video Editor will support the production of social media and marketing videos by assembling raw footage, trimming clips, and creating engaging visual narratives that align with client objectives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and managing media assets, applying basic color correction and sound editing, adding text, graphics, and transitions, and exporting files to platform-specific formats. The role also involves collaborating closely with senior editors, content creators, and the marketing team to meet deadlines and maintain brand consistency across all video content.

Qualifications

• Ability to use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics tools.
• Understanding of social media platforms and trends, particularly for short-form video content.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail in editing.
• Basic skills in audio editing, color correction, and file formats for digital and social media distribution.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is advantageous; relevant internships or portfolio of work are highly valued.
• Interest in PR, branding, and social media marketing, with a willingness to grow within a creative team environment.
