Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, system engineers, and support technicians.
- Define and implement best practices in software development, system administration, and cybersecurity.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve system performance and reliability.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects including requirement analysis, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and support.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and clients to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Prepare documentation, progress reports, and technical proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
System Architecture & Infrastructure
- Oversee design, development, and maintenance of IT systems, software platforms, and infrastructure.
- Ensure system architecture supports scalability, security, and high availability.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize resources and reduce downtime.
Compliance, Security & Support
- Ensure IT operations comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical technical issues.
- Coordinate IT support services and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in IT-related roles, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in one or more areas: software development, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), networks, cybersecurity, or system integration.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering successful IT projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Competencies
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or CISSP are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
