Summary

Fully responsible to monitor, review, manage, formulate mould modification plan and mould repair process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish processes for new molds, document process development and changes, evaluating tool performance and monitoring new tool design.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, control plan, FMEA, troubleshooting guideline and other ISO related documentation.
• To prepare the SOP, Tool Cycle Check (TCC)/ tool maintenance form and all related technical documentation.
• Accountable, lead and follow-up transfer of the mould inspection, mould transfer, ensuring the related information was provided and supporting the production team.
• Monitor the process of moulds running in production, troubleshooting problem moulds and assisting in resolving quality issues.
• Coordinate maintenance of moulds; specify repair or alteration of moulds and automation while ensuring adequate documentation is maintained.
• To prepare tool capacity and tooling performance review for the team in line with increase of production.
• Provide guidance, training and coaching to technicians on machine monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement projects.
• Ensure 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety & health protocols compliances.

Job Requirements:

• Education Level: Degree in Engineering. Preferably Plastics Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Year of Experience: Minimum 2-3 years related experience in injection molding environment. Fresh graduate with responsible attitude are welcome to apply.
• Capability: Demonstrates hands-on experience on processing, repair and replace molds and machine parts. Ability to set up and check work with precision tools and measuring instruments.
• Skills: Knowledge in analytical software (e.g., Minitab, design software, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc)
• Language: English & Bahasa Malaysia are must, Japanese will be added advantage.
• Familiar with QC inspection activities, proficiency in documentation tools and quality engineering report.
