Job Summary
The Executive Business Development plays a dual-role function as both a frontline strategist and operational lead within the department. This position is responsible for driving new business growth, exploring emerging markets, managing partnerships with OEMs and government agencies, and ensuring that all tenders, proposals, and project executions are delivered accurately, timely, and in compliance with client or ministry requirements.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across multiple sectors, including defence, energy, infrastructure, and government projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and government agencies to support future collaborations.
- Attend and represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and official business meetings (local and international).
- Prepare and manage Letters of Intent (LOI), Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and collaboration agreements with partners.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Technical, Finance, and Project Teams) to ensure project feasibility and compliance with corporate objectives.
- Coordinate and host client or principal engagement activities as part of business-relationship management.
- Perform any other task or responsibility as assigned directly by the Head of Department, Management, or instructed by subordinate in relation to ongoing departmental functions.
- Attend any and all official functions, meetings, or events as instructed by subordinate, Head of Department, or Management.
- Any adhoc tasks will be assigned.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or any related course. Any relevant professional certificate or course will be an added advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Tender Management.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes, ICP policies, and international trade practices.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft and project tracking tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally for meetings, conferences, and project visits.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
