Full Time Telephone Operator Jobs, in Hatten Hotel Melaka Melaka - Maukerja

Job Description as Telephone Operator as follows:

• Receives and channels all telephone calls to the parties concerned in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner using the hotel's official greeting and standard phrases.
• Assist hotel guests in connecting calls whenever there are difficulties by placing calls, providing telephone numbers and checking if numbers dialed by guest are correct.
• Provide guests with any information required provided that information is not deemed confidential by management policies.
• Operator must be thoroughly familiar with hotel facilities and services, location of all outlets, their hours of operation and current promotions and activities.
• Operator should be familiar with telephone numbers that are frequently required by guests e.g. embassies, airlines, hotels.
• Operator should be familiar with places of interest and their locations.
• Relays all messages for guests accurately and promptly.
• Assist in paging for a called party using the in-house paging system or the city-wide pagers.
• Report any faulty telephone or pager to Engineering or supplier and to maintain an accurate record of faulty telephones/pagers. To follow-up with maintenance and supplier on progress of repair.
