Job Description

Responsibilities

The intern will work closely with cybersecurity professionals to assist in identifying security risks, tracking remediation activities, analyzing threat intelligence, and preparing reports and presentations for various stakeholders. This internship offers practical exposure to enterprise cybersecurity practices within a global organization.


  • EASM Management
  • Investigate findings based on severity, exploitability, and potential business impact; ensure prioritization aligns with AIA risk appetite.
  • Work closely with CSIRT, applications owners, and infrastructure team to remediate vulnerabilities promptly; track progress and escalate delays.
  • Threat Landscape Analysis
  • Continuously monitor AIA threat trends.
  • Produce periodic threat landscape insight for leadership.
  • Deliver presentations to leadership and technical teams on AIA’s threat landscape.
  • Third-party breach response
  • Investigate security incidents involved vendors
  • Track third-party security incidents end-to-end


General Responsibilities

  • Support cybersecurity projects, assessments, and initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and operational documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and cybersecurity exercises.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining exposure to enterprise cybersecurity operations.
  • Perform research and administrative tasks related to cyber risk, threat analysis, and security monitoring.


Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Security Operations.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001 is an advantage.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity projects, Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, labs, or coursework would be beneficial.
  • Interest in red teaming, blue teaming, and purple teaming activities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to understand and do scripting using python is a plus point
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders
