Responsibilities

About the Company

We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong hands-on experience in Java, MVC Framework, and Oracle PL/SQL to lead BAU support, maintenance, and enhancement of critical enterprise applications. The role requires deep understanding of legacy Struts or any MVC based systems, production support, and gradual modernization, with Spring Boot Microservices exposure as a secondary skill.


About the Role

The Tech Lead will be responsible for leading BAU activities and providing technical leadership in the support and enhancement of enterprise applications.


Responsibilities

  • Lead BAU activities for existing Struts-based applications, including defect fixes, minor enhancements, and performance improvements.
  • Own production support, incident analysis, and root-cause resolution.
  • Ensure system stability, availability, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, BA, and other relevant parties.
  • Monitor and document day to day task progress of team.
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for client queries related to Struts BAU and backend systems.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance on Java, Struts/MVC, and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Conduct code reviews focused on quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and legacy system best practices.
  • Support and mentor team members working on BAU support and enhancement tasks.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex production issues.
  • Drive performance tuning and optimization initiatives across application and database layer.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 8–12 years


Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java.
  • Experience with MVC Framework.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Deep understanding of legacy Struts or any MVC based systems.


Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Spring Boot Microservices.
