Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Field Technician to provide on-site technical support and ensure the proper installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of equipment and systems. The role involves field service work, equipment handling, and coordination with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of equipment or systems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose technical issues and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
- Replace faulty components, equipment, or parts when required.
- Conduct site inspections and identify potential technical or operational issues.
- Respond to service requests and attend to on-site technical issues within the required timeframe.
- Provide basic technical support and guidance to customers or users when required.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and properly before completing service work.
- Handle, transport, load, unload, and set up equipment at customer or project sites.
- Maintain proper records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and service activities.
- Coordinate with the operations and support teams regarding schedules, equipment requirements, and service status.
- Maintain and properly use tools, equipment, and spare parts required for field service.
- Support basic inventory checks and ensure equipment and spare parts are properly accounted for.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and site requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in field service, technical support, installation, or maintenance is an advantage but not required.
- Basic technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop hands-on technical skills.
- Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and technical systems.
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willing to travel to different customer or project sites when required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, IT, or technical equipment.
- Experience with equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and technical documentation.
- Ability to read basic technical manuals, diagrams, or instructions.
- Good organizational and reporting skills.
